I know it wouldn't make sense to post your full requirements, but it's next to impossible right now to tell what you want on an app. I was not apping this round, but right now the best advice I have for anyone apping in is "if you have any app anxiety don't, I'm not sure what they'd call a problem and what they'd call good so I can't really help you" and I've been in game nearly a year now.

I'm also used to immediate rejections being for things like "the app was unreadable, missing parts, grossly inappropriate, not something wanted in game, Mary Sue tier of "My character has no flaws and wins at everything", or obviously OOC for canon characters, which makes "there was a close call on if a revision in each section was grounds to reject and tell you to wait two months", particularly when there's a lot of potential for things like broken html, lousy wiki's, or "it's not bad but we're unsure on something". I think the long app cycles do make it feel particularly draconian; I know at least two of the straight rejections did shop the app around before submitting it to ask advice from as many people as they could, and "you may have already waited two months for a chance, now wait two more" is a little ridiculous at that point, particularly without anything clearly posted describing what you look for and what would be common "problems".

What you think is intuitive as a "potential problem" clearly isn't if there's this many people, including several that already have characters in and obviously have demonstrated being able to vaguely competently write an app, getting rejections and extensive revisions like this, and at this point, having this many like that CAN'T be a problem with the players or the apps.

And I REALLY feel for the people getting told "Wait another two months and you have to contact us to even get a clue what we wanted from you".
