Would it be possible to allow nagas a bit of shapeshifting? Not a whole lot, but possibly from their "default" of human with a serpentine tail, to something far more snake like for combat, with a more serpentine head etc, but able to turn back to the human with snaketail/fangs afterwards?
Being able to become something like this http://darknatasha.deviantart.com/art/King-Cobra-62378579 for sheer intimidation purposes might be a whole lot of fun.
