Can a kelpie control if they're sticky or not? How do they get the person off afterwards if not?

If a character chooses to not kill until they lose their minds and are forced to, is that the end of the character or does feeding revert them back to sanity?

Yes, kelpies can control it and simply shake the human off when they want to.

Feeding automatically restores their sanity. It'll be like waking up in the middle of a huge crime scene.
